TFAS will be providing the sumptuous Andhra Vindu Bhojanam. We are going to have many attractions for kids and adults. There will be face painting, mehindi, Kabbadi (for both adults and kids), Tokkudu Billa, tennikoit, Caroms, Badminton, Basket Ball, Playing Cards, Chairs, Horse Shoes, Skipping Ropes, Flying Saucers, Tug-of-War etc.
Please suggest activities that will have special appeal to families, young kids, teenagers and young adults. Your creative ideas on outdoor activities are most welcome. Members are requested to bring ONE of the food items from the menu. Cookies, chips, sodas, large watermelons, corn, juices etc). Bring ice coolers with ice to keep drinks cold. Please come early. Invite your guests too.
Directions: From I-287 south at Exit #17, take 202/206 south, Somerville. When the highways split, take 206 south. At the second traffic light make a right turn onto Somerset Street. Follow for approximately 2 miles (road name will change to Old York Road). Duke Island Park will be on the left. At the end of the entrance road (small circle) take a right towards parking lot C. The Field is in Oak Grove picnic area (you'll pass it on your left). Park in lot C. Check http://www.mapquest.com.
